Many people like to list any movie about the dead as a "ghost" movie, especially if it falls into the horror genre. It seems many people consider a movie about "ghosts" if it deals with the afterlife, has a character who is dead, or simply has the word "ghost" in the title. However, I do not agree.

Of course, there are a lot of movies that fall into a gray area and you might disagree with my decision. I tried to use some logic to my choices. For example, I did not include Freddy Krueger movies (although he is dead) but I did include Candyman movies (because they are based on a ghost urban legend). So here is my list of not quite ghost movies.
